I will be attending a college in the fall in Philadelphia, PA. My college has a foreign language requirement. I would like to learn Romanian, and am hoping to convince the college to accept private instruction in that language as a fulfillment of the language requirement. I am a beginner, and would have to reach some level of competency (set by the college) in order for it to qualify. Therefore, in addition to instruction I would need a 'course outline' to present to the college.

Am fost voluntara cu Corpului Pacii din Moldova (2003-2005). Am facut examene atunci si am primit 'Advanced-Mid ' pentru vorbire. Acum, sunt studenta de relatii international (Master's of Art in International Politics) la o universitatea in Washington, D.C. Pentru program, am nevoie de scris examene aici pentru diplom (modern foreign language) dar nu exista examen pentru limba romana. Daca cineva din Romania sau Moldova ar vrea sa-mi ajut cu scrisul examen cu universitatea si sa-mi da, as fi foarte multumita.

My husband is Romanian and he is not the best instructor, He has taught me some thing's but he is unable to build me into a fluent romanian speaker like himself, I want to read/write/ and speak romanian comfortably and fluently I want to work with someone one on one in person.. I want to study this language at least 9-10 hours a week

I only know a few words that i picked up from a friend but really dont understand how to read wright or speak the language.
I met a student from Cluj-Napoca and we got along very well. she told me about her country and where she lived.
Since then I have become more interested in learning the language and Im also going to Romania next year and her mother doesnt speak english.
I need help in all areas
the qualities im looking for is for someone to teach me.

Hello, I will be living in Nantucket, MA from 20 June to 20 August 2008 prior to moving to Bucharest as a US diplomat. I am currently overseas now, but will be returning to Nantucket for summer 2008 and would to receive one on one romanian language training on the island of Nantucket.
