I am a beginner. I would like to learn Japanese because my husband's family is Japanese and I would like our children to speak it. I would like our children to have some idea of their Japanese heritage.
Wi th busy work schedules, I think it would be best to start one day a week. Maybe Saturday. If their is a small classroom instead, I would also consider that.

I am 12 years old and I am really dedicated to learning Japanese. My friend and I are planning a trip to Japan next year, and we want to know the language. I am a beginner in Japanese language and am a serious student who wants to eventually work in Japan as I really love the country and people.
I know hiragana and katakana fairly well as well as basic vocabulary so I am not a total beginner. ^^
It isn;t easy finding Japanese tutors or even friends in Calgary so I would be very grateful for any help in learning Japanese on a regular basis. I can of course help you learn English as well, and I am willing to pay whatever a tutor thinks is suitable.
