Hello. My Name is Bill Roberts and I am looking for a Tagalog teacher. My wife is filipino, my church is filipino and alot of our friends are filipino. I would really like to learn how to speak tagalog fluently. I do not speak any at present. I would like to have a one hour lesson once or twice a week until I can speak tagalog fluently. I will be travelling to the Philippines next summer so it would really be an honor if I could speak a little tagalog to my wife's relatives then. I am looking for a good teacher who can teach an English speaking person from the beginning well enough to communicate with someone in the Philippines.

Absoloute beginner,no lessons what so ever.
Im hoping to go to Manila in march 09,for a few months.
All areas will need covered.
4 or 5 hours a week.
Someon e with a great deal of patience,who can make a lesson relaxed,inter esting,maybe fun and who does not take themselves too seriously.Im alsmost forty years old,so all i ask is that im taken seriously as im the customer/stud ent and it will be me who is paying for their time.
I would also prefer a woman to tutor me,ive tried to learn a language before and responded better to female teachers.

I would like to learn the filipino language because my friends are filipino and i travelling between Europe and the Philippines since 2 years now... i would like to speak with my friends in Tagalog or in Visaya...
I need to learn vocabulary and grammar, and the conversations , i think all things...
I would like to spend a maximum of my free time to learn the languages i think 5 hours per week, i think more times....
