I lived in Vietnam for 1 year but only achieved a basic level of speaking as I was very busy. I know some basic sentence structure and have a fairly good use of tones. I am learning Vietnamese because I intend to return to Vietnam. I love it!!!!
I would like to increase my vocabulary and most importantly, have lots of speaking practice.
I'm looking for a teacher who can push me and give me this speaking practice. Pronunciation is important for me so I want someone who can be strict about it.
I'd like up to two lessons per week of at least 1 to 2 hours each.

I am looking for a teacher who is a fluent Vietnamese speaker (preferably with a Southern Dialect) in the Columbus, OH area. I am willing to travel up to 30min outside Columbus if necessary.
Although I've had a lot of exposure to the culture & language, my language skills are very much beginner level. I could meet as often as twice a week, or as little as once every other week (depending on the teacher's availability) .

I am a total beginner. I live here and have already been in Vietnam for 6 months and don't speak the language yet, so I definitely need to learn. I am fluent in Japanese, so I find it easy to learn languages. I would like to have 1 hr - 1.5 hr lessons 4 nights a week. I want a female teacher that has experience, is professional and patient. I would prefer that the teacher doesn't teach me using English. Just use pictures and gestures and visual props, or if necessary Japanese. I am female and would prefer a female teacher.
