Hi,
I took about one year of Mandarin classes, 2 years ago (3-6 hours a week) in Montreal University and I did travel in China for 2 months.
I am learning Chinese because i would like to go back to China.
I would like to improve both my chinese conversation and writing.
each week, i would be able to meet up once (after 6-7 pm or on the weekend)
I am looking for a teacher that is a mandarin native speaker.

I'm a beginner in the languages I listed above. I wish to learn these languages to pursue my dream in becoming a director in Asia. I need improvement on everything that is necessary to learn. I wish to dedicate 21 hours of everything or a maximum of 3 hours a day to my language lessons, though lessons may only be on weekends. I wish that my teacher is patient, kind, and understanding .

Hi, I'm currently working in Beijing with the national speedskating team. My work term will be ending this month and I will be in calgary for 4 monthes, then I will return. I need Mandarin to effectively communicate with my skaters. I'm a beginner-inte rmiediate. My biggest trouble is listening skills. My speaking is limited but not too bad. I'm willing to work with a tutor 2x per week or 3x per week depending on cost and availablity. I'm looking for a teacher that can give me the words and sentence patterns that I need to do my job. I want a teacher that gives me homework. I want a teacher who is well prepared and has a general plan for me to reach my goals. My goals are to be able to understand what I hear and speak well enough to be understood. I dont believe in being perfect in speaking...th at will come with time. I also like having fun as well!
