I would like to learn polish because my mother is polish and it is part of my heritage. I speak only a few words of polish and am keen to learn. I speak chinese almost fluently ad also a lot of french so i think I am a fast learner. I would like one 2 hour lesson a week if it is possible.

I'm a beginner in the Polish language, as my mom is Polish but not my Dad..so while I was exposed to it...we, unfortunately , didn't speak it in the house...We are going to Poland for a trip next summer, so I wanted to earn basic grammar and conversationa l skills...Gram mar is the real challenge for me...I was thinking a weekday evening once a week, or once every two weeks...maybe meeting at a Chapters cafe somewhere? Really hoping to have a workbook of some kind....Let me know if this is something that interests you!

I wish to learn the Polish language from a beginners level and would like to cover all aspects starting from grammar, pronunciation right through to conversation.
There is a possibility that I will re-locate to Poland in August 2008 so therefore I require lessons as soon as possible to provide me with a good start when I move.
Ideall y I would prefer face-face lessons, although will consider interaction via telephone, email and the internet with the right tutor with the relevant experience to teach.
Ideal ly to start with I think 2-3 lessons a weeks for 1 hour will be sufficient, however I will welcome any suggestions regarding how many lessons to take initially.
