I am a beginner of both Japanese and Thai, I have had a small introduction to both languages and would like to continue my studies of the two. Asian languages and cultures fascinate me a lot, so I am real motivated to learn both Japanese and Thai. My long-term goal is to become fluent in both languages no matter how long it takes me.
I am willing to devote ample amount of time to each language. I just finished a 6-week Japanese class that met once a week, and I am disappointed to say I am taking very little away from that experience. As for my Thai study, I met a college student who is from Thailand and is attending college here and is teaching me basic conversationa l Thai as a cultural language exchange. Now I am looking for tutors who can help me expand from where I am at now.
What I am looking for in an instructor is someone who is not just expecting to be my tutor but also my friend. Someone who really wants to see me succeed in my goal of learning the language.

I want to learn languages. I don't regret much in my life so far, but not learning any languages when I was younger is defiantly one of them. I am interested in traveling the world, and before I do that I want to learn about as many languages as I can.
I am a good learner in the right environment. And I am dedicated to learning the things I want to learn, and new languages are defiantly something I want to learn.
I am however new to languages, so it could take me some time to get the knack of it. Please be patient with me.
I work till 5 on weekdays. Anytime after that for classes are perfect.
