Hello. My name is Erica, and I've been teaching and living in Egypt for two years. I have studied some Arabic; however, I need major help with my conversation skills. I can understand quite a bit, but I lack the confidence to speak.
I want to learn Arabic for myself. The more I learn, the richer my experience in Egypt will be.
I would like to meet twice a week (in Masr Gedida, if possible--Kor ba???).
I'm hoping that my instructor can correctly assess my level and help me focus on and overcome my weaknesses.

I am looking for a native Arabic speaking teacher for my 5 year old son (who speaks a bit of Arabic and understands) but I am looking for more formal and structured teaching for him. We are an Egypian family but my son goes to a British school where Arabic lesons are very limited.

Hi,
I would like to learn to read, write and speak arabic as my husband is Egyptian, we always have the intention of him teaching me, but we never get round to it! I would like to be able to speak with his family and also suprise him.
I would say I am a complete begginer. I work away from home on a 2 weeks on 1 weeks off roster, so I am only in the city 1 week every 3. Although I will have time to study while I am away working.
