I speak very minimal mandarin but very fluent when singing mandarin. i dont know how to pronounce it when it comes to speaking it. I write minimal chinese. I am looking forward to learn more mandarin so i can write mandarin and cantonese songs. I am willing to dedicate at least 6-8 hours a week.

I current speak mostly English at home. I also speak a little cantonese but rarely. There are 2 reasons why i am seeking a Mandarin tutor.
1. My children are in pre-school and learning mandarin. I find it difficult to be able to help them. I would like to at least be able to converse with them
2. My interest is to also gain a career advancement so that I will be able to move to Shanghai in 1 year's time. I would like to be able converse fluently in Mandarin
I would like to seek a tutor that is fluent in native Chinese and be able to help my wife and I converse fluently in Mandarin. She should be able to keep us excited about the subject through out the lesson. She must have a passion for what she does and must be on time and responsible.
We would be able to spend at least 2 times a week learning Mandarin unless I am travelling.
