Me and my wife both are working for international companies living in Groningen. We speak English fluently. However, we make quite a lot of grammar mistakes while speaking. Besides, our active vocabulary is limited compared to passive one. Our current overall level is B2.
Our goal is to progress to the level C1 taking together one lesson per week with a private teacher plus, obviously, homework.
What we expect from a teacher is not just help with a certain topic but rather guidance and willingness steer us. We are searching for a coach who will be able define the steps we need to take to achieve the desired level C1.
