I'm an American native speaker of English who wants to learn Finnish (and maybe other languages in the future). I plan on studying language and linguistics and possibly becoming a translator. I only know a few Finnish phrases and words, so I'm a beginner in the language. I would like to know everything about the language, and also the culture associated with Finland. Due to my work schedule, I can probably take lessons maybe once a week, or even twice a week, through voice chat (Skype preferred). I look for a teacher who will give structured and orderly lessons, as I yearn for structure, which I don't feel I have when self-studying . A teacher should be polite and enthusiastic and appreciate the needs of the student. I took 7 years of Spanish in school, and recieved A's. My teachers all said I was a dedicated student and even seemed like a native speaker. Please contact me with your price quotes if you are interested in having me as a student.
