I want to learn Cantonese because I want to work and live in Hong Kong.
I have little to no knowledge of Cantonese.
I want to learn anything and everything there is to learn (grammar, conversation, broad vocabulary, etc.)
I want to dedicate as much time as needed to be able to speak fluently in Cantonese.
I want maximum coverage in my lessons. I want to learn everything there is to learn about the said Langange.
I want I teacher who is very patient, kind and very determined to teach me and see me learn. Someone who can give me a lot of tips about living in Hong Kong- anything under the sun that will help me in my work and way of life there.

My proficiency level is beginner. The reason why I am learning Cantonese, and other such languages is because first of all I have interest in those languages. As a Cantonese individual, whom was born and raised in Canada, not knowing their own home language can sometimes be a burden. Therefore I want to strengthen my languages skills in order to communicate with others.
The other languages, such as Mandarin, Korean and Japanese are all for my interests, for example Mandarin is a good language to improve on, as it is a form of dialect of Chinese, and it's also good for me to learn for my job as a business-orie nted individual. As for Japanese and Korean, I have learned Japanese back in high school and would like to continue to pursue the language, and recently, I have been greatly interested by the Korean language as well and would like to pursue the language.
But as of now, the main language I would like to learn is Cantonese.

I am running my own business in computer networking security technology. I would like to learn Cantonese to be able to better interact with our company's resellers. Starting next year, 2009, we would like to recruit more chinese based companies to become our reseller. As such, I think the Cantonese language skill is extremely important.
