I would like to learn European Portuguese and upgrade my skills. I was born in Portugal, and have been taught slang Portuguese, and would like to learn a better standard of Portuguese.
I need practice in all areas of the language. My conversation skills are quite poor. I understand Portuguese, however cannot speak very well.
I need a teacher that can give lessons either at night or on the weekend.

Hi!
I trying to learn Japanese. I have basic survival Japanese only and would like to improve.
I am hoping to become good enough to pass Level 3 JLPT soon.
I am looking for a teacher who can make the classes suit me and not just put me though the same old lesson plans. I am most interested in conversation Japanese but will also work on writing/readi ng as well.
I would like to do in person lessons. But i am also happy to do Internet web chat lessons too!

Hello - I have been learning Vietnamese for 3 years now. I am a long term student and want to continue progressing. I have been learning on-line, however my teacher has not been available lately and I want to continue progressing.
I am available to study in the evenings and want approx. 2 - 2.5 hours of lesson throughout the week. With homework and practice exercises. Although I try very hard, I am a slower learner, and not living in Vietnam so I need alot of repetition and encouragement to improve.
I want a teacher that will understand that I am busy but realises it is important for me to progress - I want my teacher to WANT me to succeed! I want a teacher who is serious and takes my lessons serious - I will be a long term student, I am committed to learning this language and will continue to study with a teacher that understands my learning style.
Pre sently I am having trouble losing my strong Australian accent - in addition to reading, and speaking practice I really need to have some listening exercises so I can listen during the week. I want a pro-active teacher who encourages me to keep going and is focussed on teaching me during the lesson. I want the teacher to check that I am fully understanding what I am learning and a teacher that will set suitable homework to ensure that I use what I am learning.
