I am a beginner to intermediate as I understand and speak some Mandarin.
I want to learn more to do business with China in the future.
I need grammer, conversation, everything.
I have the ability to speak at home as my wife is a native Mandarin speaker but refuses to speak to me or my children in Chinese as see says this is a useless effort.
I need someone who is patient and proficient in Chinese and to a lesser degree English.
I would eventually like to get my sons involved and my friend and his sons.

I am a beginner who spent 1 month in China last year and plan on returning again this year in August. I had studied some Mandarin Chinese through language Cd's before I left last year but felt they did not help much when I was trying to communicate in China. I am also an acupuncturist and a lifelong martial artist so I feel learning the Chinese language would be useful to me in those endeavors as well.

beginner, learning for career advancement,a ll the areas as far as chinese is concerned are untouched so would like to be able to speak and understand perfectly and basic grammer to write or read.I can spent 1-2 hours in morning and would like to complete the course in 2-3 months if that is possible. My name is Mohamad Naifuddin and i would like to learn mandarin. This would be my first time learning this language so id say im a Beginner.
Basically my work involves meetings with Chinese nationals thus id like to learn the language and eventually converse with less help from an interpreter.
My main aim is to be able to speak and understand mandarin on a basic form.
Id like to dedicate about 3hrs a day, 5 days a week, for 3 months as i'll be leaving for australia in July.
