I am working in Marseille until Christmas and as a result building on my already basic French skills will prove beneficial, not only in the workplace, but in a social setting too.
I would put myself into the basic category for reading, writing and speaking, although I have a better understanding of written French. I have had 5 two-hour lessons of French to date.
Main ly, I would be looking to improve my oral French skills and would be looking to dedicate around 4-5 hours per week. This would have to be in the evenings since I am work during the day.
In terms of teaching qualities, essentially the teacher should have well-structur ed lessons and patience.

I am currently shifting between two jobs. In my new job I will need to be fluent in French and Spanish. Already having some knowledge of both languages I would like to improve my conversationa l skills through appr. one hour of videoconferen ce per week. My field of work in the job will concern Latin America and Northern Africa. A language teacher from these regions would therefore be excellent.

I am applying for immigration to canada and my interview will be in french.
i do have a base in french as it was out third language in school. i can understand most of the conversation if someone speaks slowly. however, it takes a lot of time and effort for me to put words and sentences together and come up with a proper conversation.
I need to be able to conduct a proper conversation in french and to understand fully what the other person is talking about.
i am fully motivated as i dont have much time until my interview with the canadian officer (7 months).
i am looking for someone who's patient and is able to customize the lessons acording to the needs i just mentioned.
