I shall be visiting Japan at Easter 2005, to attend my son's wedding. I wish to learn some basic Japanese, so that I can converse with my new daughter-in-l aw's family. I am a complete beginner, although I have visited Japan previously when I was able to pick up a few words.
I would prefer to attend classes in Dorset, (preferably in Bournemouth or Poole ), although I am not adverse to personal study by some other method.

I'm a beginner, I know a few words which will not get me around at all. I'm learning Japanese because I love Japan, and I want to teach English one of these days. I need improvement with everything.
