My daughter is 6 years old and I want her to learn these languages. She is a beginner. I prefer a live person for her as she will learn better. I am looking for a teacher who is gentle, patient, soft spoken, works well with kids and teaches at the level kids can understand. Learning should be fun and interactive for kids so they pick it up faster.

I plan on taking these skills to the business world; and thus knowing another language - the current language of business - allows me to efficiently communicate in the foreign market. I am a beginner, and only plan on learning the how to speak mandarin and not how to write it. I want to dedicate lots of time to this, 8 hours a week.

Japanese - I consider myself a high beginner or low intermediate. I'm learning Japanese for personal growth and travel also. I need to improve my grammar and listening comprehension . I will dedicate as much time as I can. I need a teacher who is very proficient, preferably a native speaker but also speaks English well.
Kore an - I am a beginner, I only started learning in September of 2008. I am learning Korean because I would like to teach english in Korea some day. Since I'm a beginner I need to work on every aspect of speaking and listening. Reading and writing are not a problem.I will dedicate as much time as I can.
