I am an absolute beginner. I am looking to develop at least intermediate skills to be able to communicate in both a business manner and in social settings. I am intending to visit Romania soon and want to be able to get myself around and somewhat blend in. The time table remains open. Until I get to a point I feel comfortable with where I am. I am looking for a teacher that can teach the funamentals but also explain some of the slang that you might encounter in a city like Bucharest or on the coast. Thanks.

I am a beginner, and I have the Pimsleur C.D.'s,which I know a lot of Romanians don't like. I can say some things, but cant spell that well. I am learning because I know how good it is for the brain!I also have a fear, and love, for the good Count D. I would love to visit Romania,see the castles,and enjoy the history.As a new student, I will need help with all parts of speech, and will study hard! I will study at least an hour a day, and probably much more. I like a teacher who can help someone who wants to learn!
