I only know 1 or 2 words in Kreyol. I'd like to be able to communicate with a level of proficiency that will question whether I've been to Haiti or come from Haiti. I need help with conversation & grammar. I can dedicate 2 hours (in person if classes available in nyc) in the morning from Thursday to Saturday (6 hours total). I am interested in learning Creole because I eventually will be traveling to Haiti and I feel that French will not be of much use. I am definitely a beginner and I actually do not speak and Creole or French. I do speak Spanish and I'm learning Japanese however I'm not sure how useful they are in learning creole. I am a quick learner and I need a teacher who's challenging.
I also want to continue learning Japanese. I took 5 weeks of Japanese Language class during Governor's School for International Studies at the University of Pittsburgh.
