I'm a complete beginner. I would like to learn arabic to converse with my partner's family. I am also fluent in french, if that helps the teaching.
I can probably only spare a couple of hours a week. I prefer to learn by understanding grammar and how to create a sentence than by learning a list of useful phrases.

I have no previous Arabic knowledge. I would like to learn the language because I am an International Studies major at the Ohio State University. I want to learn all aspects of the language from grammar to conversation and even cultural aspects about the Middle East region. I will dedicate as much time as needed to master this language. I would ultimately like to travel abroad to study the language in the home land but I believe I should have solid background knowledge before I go.

Hello, my name is Natalie and I am looking for an arabic tutor. I know the basics and can understand a lot of arabic, but I get very tongue-tied when I try to speak. I want to learn verb conjugationa and improve my vocabulary. My family is arabic-speaki ng, and now I have extra incentive because my boyfriend is Egyptian and I want to meet his parents. :)
I would like to discuss with you what you recommend as far as hours per week but I am very serious about learning. I see that there are different levels and costs of educators and I would look to your guidance and choosing the appropriate one. Perhaps I could have more than one instructor: a lower level for conversation and a higher level for grammar etc...I don't know, this is where I defer to your expertise.
