I am a beginner. I speak very very little Arabic - the bare minimum. I would like to learn as I will be living in the ME for quite a few years and feel it is respectful to learn the language of the country I live in.
I am hoping to organise 2 nights a week with a Tutor.
I would like my Tutor to be either male or female (as my husband will be in the house), who will be patient, with a structured lesson setup.

I have always wanted to learn Arabic and after spending the last 2 weeks in Egypt with my best friend I decided to move foward with my learning. I want to be able to master the basic everyday conversationa l skills whether it is asking directions or ordering food. From there I guess I will see where it goes. I would hope that one day I could be fluent in the language. I am looking for a teacher who makes learning a language fun. I would also say a teacher with a lot of patience would probably be ideal because going from a romance language to a language where everything is spoken in the back of your throat is extreamly difficult for me. If you could get back to me I would appreciate it.

I have taken beginning Egyptian Colloquial Arabic courses in Cairo, Egypt, and I am now looking to advance in my Arabic because I will be returning to Egypt for a year. I would like to improve in a number of areas, with a particular focus on an improvement in conversationa l skills.
