My father is Iranian, and i admire the culture and language. I understand Farsi, but speaking tends to be my weakness. I would love to be able to hold a conversation with my family and other Iranians. I want to feel confident and proud to be able to say i fully understand the language. i would like a teacher who will push me, and correct me if i'm wrong. I have a tendency to tell people that I understand, when I really dont feel confident, so it would be very nice if the teacher can be encouraging and make sure before the lesson is done that I am fully confident that i learned something. I have plenty of free time for the next couple of months, so I am able to dedicate as much time is needed to learn Farsi.

I am learning these languages for career development. I am a level two Arabic speaker, with 18 months in the region in the last five years. I want to learn Pushto and Farsi most urgently. I am attempting to learn to speak and understand Dari. Ideally, I would love to read and write as well but I am limited with time.
I will be going to Afghanistan in 6 months and I am planning on taking Rosetta Stone course in Dari but would like private lessons once a week or every other week.
I am willing to travel to Los Angeles to support this.
