I am a student looking to learn to speak, if not read Bengali. I am a beginner and have a long way to go. I am a beginner. I would like to learn the language so I can communicate with my husband's parents and hopefully assist my husband in teaching our children the language someday. I also plan on visiting Bangladesh and would like to know enough Bengali to communicate with the natives. I would be willing to put in an hour or two 2 days a week to learn the language. I only want to learn how to speak the language, not write it.
