My wife and I are beginners in the Spanish language. We have purchased a retirement home in Panama and believe we should become proficient in Spanish for both practical reasons (day-to-day living) and as a sign of respect to our Panamanian friends, neighbours, and contacts.
As beginners we need to develop all aspects of our language skills. We both speak French, and are reasonably proficient in German, so we have the skills to learn new languages (as well as the motivation).
We would be prepared to dedicate from 2 to 4 hours per week to our lessons and would prefer to attend classes in a location in Ottawa rather than our residence.
As Spanish seems to have significant regional variations in dialect we wish to learn from a teacher who is familiar with Central American Spanish, who will concentrate (at least initially) on general conversationa l (rather than business) skills.

Hello,I have minimal knowledge of the Spanish language and would like too improve on my skills. I visit Cuba frequently and would like too be able too converse in Spanish,when I'm there. I could do 1-2 days a week ..3-4 hours a day. My teacher should be fluent in the Spanish language and very patient with me.

I am a beginner at Spanish, however I am eager to learn. I am currently taking Spanish IB in school and I need to be able to talk fluently and hold a conversation in order to pass my exam. I may also have questions with regards to homework that I may need assistance on.
