I am a beginner in Mandarin Chinese, having been exposed to the language and Chinese culture in my workplace.
I would like to learn to speak Chinese because I think it is one of the most beautiful and expressive languages, and also because someday, I would like to visit China and would like to be able to communicate in the native language.
I am willing to dedicate one or two times a week, in the morning, afternoon or evening. I am an eager and hard working student and am looking for a teacher who is patient and enthusiastic.

I am a beginner, and don't know anything about Mandarin. I am interested in learning Mandarin because I was matched with a beautiful woman on an online dating service. She is from Taiwan, and she does not speak English so well. Maybe I can better understand her if I learn a little about her culture and language. I think it would be a lot of fun too. I need to improve particularly with speaking and listening. I could dedicate one or two hours a day to learning. I will only be dedicated as long as she remains interested in me.
