Hello. I am looking to take beginner level Japanese. I have taken a Japanese course in high school, though that was years ago. I just returned from Japan so my knowledge of the language is a bit sharper than it used to be. My primary reason for wanting to learn Japanese is so I can teach over there in the next few years. I need to work on conversation, grammer and writing skills. I would like to dedicate approximately 4-8 hours a week depending upon other priorities. I am looking for a teacher who is patient and willing to guide me in the right direction.

I have a BA in Communication from Trinity University. I have been studying French, Spanish, and German at night at Tarrant County College NE campus. I have 4 semesters in each language. My first priority is to become conversationa l in Spanish. I would like to begin studying Japanese and Russian within the next 1-2 years.

I am a beginner. I want to be able to speak different languages for employment purposes and just to be able to help translate for people who don't speak english. I also want to be able to teach my children a different language. I have at least 2-3 hours a day, that I can dedicate for language lessons. I am a beginner learning japanese. I have decided that I want to learn Japanese, but our highschool doesn't offer it. I am in 8th grade, and i will be chosing classes soon for next year. If i don't get a good way to learn japanese, i may be forced to take spanish or french (which i HATE). So, i am just looking for a good way to learn it away from school and still be able so use it for college credit.
