I took a short beginner class on Swedish in Sweden during the fall semester 2008 on a study abroad exchange program. I have a large number of relatives in Sweden and am interested in this culture, heritage, and language. My comprehension skills have started to develop, but I do need work on all areas. I would like to begin one-on-one weekly lessons as soon as possible. I have some textbooks from my class in Sweden that can be used but would love to begin using additional resources and reading more in Swedish. I would like lessons that are largely conversation- based (eventually) and to work towards writing and reading frequently and with increased difficulty.

I am a student studying A levels, I am in my first year so have over one year left. For university I want to go and study in Sweden as I have family members who have moved out there, however most of the english courses require student to be able to speak, write and read fluent swedish. The only problem is i can't do either. So I need to learn fluent swedish in a year and a half. I would like two to three lessons a week if possible, an hour to two a session.
