We are looking to buy a home in the south of France, but before we do we would like to learn the language. We are at the beginner level as neither my husband or myself speak anything more than Hellos and Goodbyes. The tutoring would be for both my husband and myself. We are looking to become fulent in French and we are dedicated to the learning process. I have studied French for 2 years, but that was in 1997 and 1998, so it's been a while back. I would say that I still remember and can speak and write a lot of what I learnt, but I would really like to revise all that and learn some more vocabulary and grammar.

I had weekly French lessons in elementary school, daily lessons in middle and high school, and a 'Field Trip' to France in the seventh grade. I have not had any French instruction in about 4 years now, and would like to become as fluent as possible in order to move to France for a while. I will need a refresher of sorts, but learn very quickly. My biggest problem when I was studying, was irregular verb conjugation.
I am seeking a private tutor (so that I can learn on my own pace) in either the Seattle or Tacoma area. I will dedicate as much time as you have available.

I am looking for a teacher for my oldest daughter, and possibly her sister (maybe my husband and I as well?). The oldest is currently enrolled in a school that requires the students to become bilingual, and in another year, I hope to enroll her sister. The children are currently 4 and 5, and the 4 year old has been exposed to very little French, and although the 5 year old has been exposed at school and through CD's and books at home, she forgets quite easily. She will need help mainly in conversation, and vocabulary.
Ideally, I would like to have her in some sort of class several times a week. If that is not possible, then at least 2 hours a week, with additional assignments given that we can work on together.
I would like someone who can gear lessons towards her needs so that she isn't left behind in school next year.
