Good day sir/ma'am:
I am a Filipino girl with part Chinese in my blood. To give respect to my Chinese family, I would like to learn how to speak and write Chinese, preferrably Mandarin/Fook ien. I was able to learn a few simple words like 'Thank You', 'Goodbye', and 'Sorry'. I still do not speak good of these words that is why I need to improve for my grammar, to be used for conversations afterwards. I am available for these coming two month, November and December, for the language lessons. I hope I could find a teacher who could teach me patiently, as I am quite slow in Mandarin, and one who could offer the lessons for a cheap price.

I would say that I am an amateur learner of the Chinese language.My interest to learn the language was brought about by its importance in my current job. I would like to learn how to write, speak, & read the language proficiently. I expect to master the language in a couple of years.
