Hello.
I want to learn Thai, as I spent time in Thailand regularly training muay thai. I am a total beginner. At the moment I communicate via email with friends painstakingly using the dictionary, but I have no idea on grammar and pronunciation .
I am negotiable on how much time I can spend on learning each week, but I am leaving in January 2011 for another trip, and would like to get quite a few hours in before then.
I am looking for a teacher who can teach me Thai that I can speak with my trainers, and peers, not business/form al Thai at this moment, as I want what's most relevent first.

Hi, Iam looking for a tutor to teach me the Thai language. I am half Thai and half American. I can speak and understand a little bit, but was never properly taught to be fluent when I was young. Now as an adult I want to learn my language and be able to have a conversation with my family in Thailand. I want to immerse myself into learning my language so that when I travel back to see family or call home to speak to my mom I can speak fluently in Thai and understand what is being said.
I'm looking for a teacher that is patient, effective and willing to take the time necessary to help me become fluent. I like instructors that are easy going and have a sense of humor.
