I am a 12th grade high school student preparing to go off to college. I have 3 full school years of spanish instruction. My grammer is very good, but I have little experience in conversation I only speak spanish about 10 minutes a day in class and sometimes to spanish speakers at work. I want to learn french also although I have no experience at all.

I have been studying Spanish off and on for the past couple of years. I have a fairly good vocabulary, but need the opportunity to speak and become verbally proficient. I would consider my level to be advanced beginner as I am comfortable in the present tense only.
My desire to learn Spanish comes from frequent travel to Mexico. I love the country and the people.
Grammar is not my strong point and I become bored with traditional grammar-based instruction. My interest lies in a more conversationa l approach to learning.
I work full time, so my weekday availability is somewhat limited. I could meet one evening per week and Saturday or Sunday.
I have a friend who may be interested as well.

My husband and I spent a month in Mexico this winter and plan to return next year. We would like to improve our Spanish before then. We are beginners. We would like to become more proficient with everyday conversation, but we would also like a basic understanding of verb conjugation and grammer. My husband travels for work so we would need a flexible teacher. We would like to have lessons once per week, although it may not always be on the same day due to my husband's schedule. We are looking for a teacher that is organized and flexible. Also, we would like a teacher familiar with Mexican spanish.
