I would like to learn the primary language spoken in the former Yugoslavia. My proficiency is beginner. It is possible that I may move to the area someday (maybe in about 5 years. I would like to learn to converse as fluently as possible in the language. Time devoted will be what a teacher feels is necessary to gain proficiency.
Also, I currently work full-time as a teacher. I need lessons in the evenings or on weekends.

I just came back from my first trip to China. My father and Step-Mother have lived in GuangZhou for the past three years but this was only my first trip. Now I am in love with China and am planning to go back over my Christmas break. I spoke with my Step-mother about learning the language and she said Mandarin was the way to go. I have been searching the internet but am having difficulty locating a class for Beginners. Please help.

I am somewhere between a beginner's level and an intermediate level in spoken Japanese. I have only learned Hiragana for writing, however. I would like to become conversationa lly fluent in Japanese. I have learned a few other languages, including Spanish, French, Esperanto, and Lithuanian.
I would love a Japanese teacher in or near Chicago, and I would love just as much a 'virtual' Japanese instructor for lessons in video/voice conferences online.

I took a year of Arabic in college, then graduated. I wanted to start with the basics again and learn the language.
