I want to learn to speak Hindi as it is really and actually spoken in New Delhi and in the rural areas. I do not want text book grammar or to learn words that nobody really uses. That means I would like to learn slang expressions that are common and not offensive. My schedule is irregular, and lessons need to be planned flexibly. I can devote 1 to 4 hours a day to learning/stud ying/practicin g, at least until January 2006. I live in South Delhi and would like the tutor to teach at my house. I am a complpete beginner in speaking, but have taught myself to read most of the devangari script.
