I am a beginning learner of Arabic. I have taught myself the alphabet and am trying to read a little bit. I'm listening to tapes in my car, and studying books when I can. My interest is in conversationa l Arabic, not for religious reasons. I am an ESOL Teacher, and thought that Arabic might help me communicate with my students.
