Having studied French at school many years ago, I would like to revisit the language, and once and for all learn it fluently. Although I studied French GCSE, I am afraid to say that the majority has been forgotten, and so I will be starting at a beginners level. I am looking to spend 1-2 hours a week, unfortunately due to work pressures it cannot be any more than this. I am looking for a teacher who is patient, and has the knack of making learning an enjoyable experience!

I am going to France in Octber 08 for a PhD, which will take about 3 years. As I have not studied any French earlier, would like to learn some basics of the language in order to help me adapt to the new place.
