Looking for a tutor whose native language is French. Learning this beautiful language is a hobby,albeit a rather obsessive one. I certainly need someone to converse with, but am also looking for help with grammer and writing skills. My level is upper intermediate. I started learning French as a middle-age adult, so progress is slow....but I'm determined!

I am looking for a French teacher for my daughter who is 8 years old. I would like her to begin studying French, but I am not sure if she should start from a grammatical approach or a conversationa l approach. I am taking her to France in September and I would love for her to have some language skills by then. I am, though, looking to develop her skills for the long-term. I am open to small classes of 2-4 children or private lessons.

I am definately a beginner in French. I have taken language classes before and find in person is very helpful especially with French the pronunciation is difficult to see on a page even when spelled phonetically. I find I learn better if I am accountable to someone other than myself. I can meet one to two times a week and have plenty of time to do homework, ect. I am a flight attendant, so it could help me in my job. I need someone who is patient, nice and gives positive reinforcement .

I have two years of high school French, and I have also participated in a summer long French Immersion program in Quebec. I am interested in learning French for my own pleasure. I feel that I need improvement in all areas (grammar, conversation, etc.) I would like to meet with my French tutor once a week in order to develop my conversationa l skills. I would like a teacher who is a native speaker of the language, or if this is not possible, someone who has spent time in an area where French is spoken.
