I am interested in learning both French and Arabic and would appreciate a teacher for either one of two those. I am by far more interested in verbally learning a language and though basic reading and writing would be a bonus I am not overly worried about picking up either skill. It is my hope to be capable of fluently holding a conversation and simply get by in a foreign county using my second language by the beginning of next summer, though I by no means intend to stop there. Unfortunately I am for most intents and purposes a beginner in both languages. I am a seventeen year old grade 12 student. I intend eventually to pursue a career in politics as a diplomat and a second and third language is a necessity.

I am basically just wanting to learn a few languages, first choices would be Spanish, French, and Arabic. I am a beginner, knowing very little or none of either language. I want to learn foriegn language because I like to be able to understand people from other countries and also because I run into foriegn speaking customers in my line of work. It would be nice to be able to communicate with them. I would be able to dedicate a few to several hours a week to learning a language. At this time, I don't know what I am looking for exactly in an teacher, but I tend to learn best in a 'hands on' environment. Tend to need a bit of structure when learning. WILLING TO TRAVEL...Look ing at either Minneapolis or Chicago, but prefer Rochester, MN.
