I'm trying to learn japanese because i'm trying to keep myself busy for the summer and eventually through college. I'm very interested in the japanese language and culture and i'm looking forward to learning more about Japan. I'm a beginner and I want to learn Japanese grammar and conversation. I definitely want to learn japanese long term. I'm looking for a teacher who can do private lessons and i also want a teacher who can give me interesting ways to learn japanese.

I've got level 1bn JLPT and lived in Japan for 3 years. I'm pretty good but want to be more fluid and natural.
M y business Japanese is also not great. I would like to be comfortable in keigo. I did win the Jetro business Japanese prize in 2008 but think I was lucky!
Fin ally i'd like to be a bit more comfortable with old fashioned Japanese and understand every word of samurai epics;)

My proficiency level is almost complete beginner. I'm learning Japanese as an interest, and potentially to use in later life, if and when I move to the country.
A s a complete beginner, I need particular improvement in everything. Character recognition, however, I aim to learn myself.
I will at the very moment dedicate no time to lessons as I'm only signing up to contact a teacher, but when I've got some money and have got my AS levels out of the way, I will have numerous hours each week.
In my lessons I wish not to learn of Japanese culture, as that's something I'd rather pursue in my own free time (HAHA, A PUN), but the language is something I feel I need proper teaching on. I really don't mind what sort of teacher I get. As long as they don't strike me during lessons (outside lessons is ok) and as long as they can tolerate me, it's fine by me.
