I would be a beginner. I would like to learn mandarin because I have a piquant interest in the culture, friends who speak it, and would like to travel in China. I would be able to dedicate alot of time to these lessons. 2-3 hours of lessons and much more to homework and review since I have nothing to do this summer. I would like a teacher willing to push me and move quickly but methodically and thoroughly.

I am looking for somebody who is willing to teach me beginners Mandarin. I have never spoken the language before, however i feel that it may be a very useful skill to have. I wish to persue business in the future, and i feel that such a well known language can help me become successful when it comes to foreign affairs. I am willing to dedicate the summer to learning, however i would be more than willing to continue it afterwards as well. I personally prefer a classroom setting, however the smaller the better. I am also looking for something that is reasonable in cost, after all i am still a student and only have a part-time job.
