Description |
I work for a computer related company in the Sacramento, California area. My company is pursuing a parternship with an Italian company. I have been assigned as project leader and therefore need to learn the italian language.
I have no prior experience with the Italian language.
I am able to devote up to 3 hours per week to learn the Italian language. I live in El Dorado Hills , California but I am willing to travel in the Sacramento area for my lessons. I can meet day or evening.
M y counterpart at the Italian company is a young(20-30) female so I would prefer to learn from a young female so that I can also learn any cultural expectations, courtesies , and manners that would be expected during my interactions with my counterpart. I need to learn quickly so private tutoring is required.

Description |
I have booked a trip to Italy for May of 2005 and I want to be able to speak a good bit of Italian when I go. I have been trying to teach myself via CD Rom and audio tapes, but I don't feel like it's sinking in, since I don't get to use what I've learned in conversation.
I am very busy, and could only tutor 1-2 nights a week. I am probably considered to be at the beginner level. I need improvement in the area of grammar and conversation.

Description |
I am at a beginner level in both Italian and Albanian. I need instruction from a tutor in grammar and an adult student. I need to pass my language proficiency test in Italian by the end of May 2005. That gives me one year to learn ( quickly) and practice. My husband just moved from Italy last year but I need help with grammar, as our first speaking language is English. Going to Italy helped, but everyone wanted to practice their English with me and although I understand Italian while being spoken I have a hard time conjugating verbs and putting together sentences. I am looking for a native speaker of Italian who wouldnt mind email lessons / corrections in grammar and sentence structure, as I teach myself with the books I received in Italian 1001 from the University of MN. One hour per week is all I can afford at the moment, but could run up to 2-3 hours a week. I will be moving to Kosovo in 4 years ( after law school) and although Albanian is on the to-do list of studying, my main focus right now is Italian. I need to take my GPT in May 2005.
