My husband and I are adopting two little girls from India and we know that they speak Hindi and Telugu. I'm hoping to learn some basics in both languages to help our girls with the transition. I have studied some Hindi through Rosetta Stone but I still consider myself very much a beginner. I haven't had any experience with Telugu yet.

I visit Mumbai regularly and, although English is widely spoken, I would like to able to converse well in Hindi when I feel like it. With the increasing prominence of India on the global stage, I also believe it is an invaluable language to be familiar with.

I am currently on an internship, so I work throughout the week. However, I would love to learn Hindi so I can communicate more effectively and become more acclimated with the culture. I have never taken Hindi before and would need a teacher that has experience teaching beginners. I will need a teacher that either offers a course for beginners during the evenings/ or offers video chat sessions where I can improve my language skills. I will be practicing throughout the week, after I finish work at 6:00. Work will remain a priority, but I am excited to fill the remainder of my time learning this incredibly fascinating language.
I need a teacher willing to work with my limited schedule. I need a teacher that can effectively cater the curriculum for a beginner and offers a focus on conversationa l Hindi. Patience, enthusiasm, and clarity are qualities I desire in my Hindi teacher.
I am a student that is currently enrolled in college back in the USA. I have a very limited income and the price per lesson would have to be within my budget.
