I am a beginner and would like to advance my language studies. I would like to spend at least a few hours a week with a teacher one on one and subsequent days studying. Qualities I would like to see in a teacher are proficient knowledge of the language (if not native), a way to make learning fun and interesting. Areas I feel I need help in are conversationa l skills and stringing sentences together.

I want to learn Norwegian because I am planning on moving to Norway in June 06, my fiance is Norwegian. I am currently learning myself with his help on pronounciatio n but I need more than that. I want to be able to go to nursing school in fall 07 in Oslo. A lot of work ahead for sure.
