I had some french lessons in England before moving to Paris but am still a beginner. I can usually do the basics of ordering/requ esting things in shops/booking a table etc in bad french but cant understand very much of the answers I get back and am very halting when i speak.
I would like to have weekly 1 or 1 1/2 hour lessons (for an indefinate duration) to improve my french.
I am very interested in grammar so even when my French is at a conversationa l level I would like to continue lessons to assist my understanding of the language and speak it correctly, although this is a very long way off!

I just want to learn French because I am planning to go Canada, their the second official language is French this is also one of the reason which i want to learn French. I like to learn in and out of the language. I can spend time on weekends. The qualities I need from a tutor is: he/she must be a very good tutor to teach French language and he must very good in translation into English, if he can translate it into the other languages like Hindi or Telugu will be an added advantage to me.
