I need to learn French since I am leaving for Canada soon and I heard it would give me an edge in finding a job there. The only phrases I know are 'je t'aime,' 'bonjour,' and 'bon appetit' to mention a few of the very minimal French my tongue can possible speak, which, by the way, my brain picked up from movies, songs, etc.
Engli sh is my second language and as a lot of Filipinos are, I can say I am really good in it whether it be spoken or written.
I need to learn French, and fast. I am a pretty quick learner especially when I am really driven. I have a couple of weeks to learn even if it's just the basics. I know I can get myself an instructional kit somewhere but I think it would be better if I had an actual tutor or if I enrolled in a language school to monitor my progress and to assess my performance.
I am currently employed and I work Sundays through Thursdays from 9 in the morning to six in the evening. I prefer to have a native speaker teach me, someone young and upbeat (if this is not possible, upbeat would do, with a little bit of sense of humor).
I don't have any knowledge or whatsoever of French so there really isn't any particular area that I need improvement on. I just need to learn the basic, conversationa l French for now.

I currently live in Germany and teach English at a language school. (I also speak German). I studied French for 4 years but have virtually no speaking ability. For work purposes I would like to do an intensive French course as well as Arabic. I wanted to go to France for a couple of months to do this but I think its too expensive, I would like to go to Tunisia.

I am at a beginner level however have studied with a tutor in Australia mainly focussing on grammar. I would like to have an emphasis on conversation and study in person one evening a week. A friendly teacher who is flexible with their time and understands that I am learning for enjoyment would be ideal.
