I am trying to learn Spanish using Pimsleur and am about half way through the 2nd series. So I am a beginner but not novice. Pimsleur is good but I can see that I won't really become familiar with the langauge without some serious conversation practice and formal tutoring.
I am learning primarily for my own pleasure and would like around 1-2 hrs a week.

Native speaker of Spanish (preferably Chilean) - experience teaching Spanish as a second language preferred. Looking for a dynamic teacher willing to teach 2 small groups of North American students (4-8), potentially of mixed levels and needs. I am a beginner at Spanish, and i would like to learn the language because of travel and also i have some friends from Latin America coming to visit in December. It would also be great to be bilingual for future purposes (eg: work overseas)
I feel i need particular attention in grammar, conversation and writing and would like to dedicate 3-5 days a week for language lessons.
The only qualities im looking for in a teacher is professionali sm, as long as i can come out of my time in each class knowing a new sentence or phrase i'll be happy.
