I am a beginner and looking for a private teacher who can teach me Portugese. I am planning on stuyding 4-8 weeks of 20-30 hours per weeks. I speak good Spanish and hope to pick up Portugese faster this way. I am planning on staying in Rio de Janeiro or preferable Belo Horizonte. I am planning to start the classes on July 17th.

I am a 27 year old native English speaker who wishes to spend some months in Floripa and find work there also if possible. I will be there hopefully from November 06 until at least February 07, depending on how things go.
I am learning Portuguese at home and am at a basic level now but will continue to practice all of this year.
So, I would like to make contact with people in Floripa who will be able to either help me continue with my Portuguese or could suggest work opportunities for me when I am there. Perhaps you know of a language school who would like to hear from a native English speaker who is willing to teach.
