I studied french at school up until 16 but the only formal language teaching I have recieved since was 2 weeks on a full time course when I arrived in La Rochelle 7 months ago.
I carried out a lot of self study in the months preceding my move to france but am now finding my motivation to study slipping due to a lack of any formal structured teaching.
I can hold a basic conversation with 1 or 2 other people but find large groups impossible to keep up with and my grammar extends to the basic verb conjugations (though not always correctly...) .
I would like to progress my french to allow me to get more out of life here both socially and practically as I intend to stay in La Rochelle for the forseeable future.
I am looking for 1-2 private lessons per week plus homework with the possibility of continuing study by email. My job is rather unpredictable and sees me working outside of france and in a purely english speaking environment pretty much every other month. So remote working and a certain amount of flexibility would be appreciated.

Bonjour! Je m'appelle Niki, et au moment j’étudie le français en terminale. J’ai encore une préceptrice qui m’aide avec ma grammaire, mes devoirs etc., mais je cherche aussi quelqu’un pour m’aider avec la conversation. Comme on peut voir, mon français ce n’est pas parfait !!! Je aimerais mieux que j’aille chez vous, ou qu’on aille au café (ou quelque part) pour faire les leçons, car c’est difficile de se concentrer avec ma famille ici !
