Kumusta! I would like to learn Tagalog. I am a beginner, but I know a few sentences which my boyfriend has tought me as he is Filipino. I would like to learn Tagalog as I plan to spend a lot of time in the Philippines and would one day like to own a hotel there and possibily retire there.
I would like to be able to eventually speak Tagalog fluently. Time isn't really an issue, I will keep taking lessons untill I am able to read, write and speak Tagalog fluently. I am very determined to learn, I will not give up untill I have!

I am a complete beginner learning to speak Tagalog. I have only learned a few words and phrases. I need someone to teach me the language in person. I have many Filipino friends and feel excluded when they speak in Tagalog. I do not need a perfect command of the language, but I would like to be able to understand general conversation and be able to express myself in Tagalog at a basic level. I would be interested in attending group classes or have private tutoring if it is not too expensive. I live in Reseda, which is a suburb of Los Angeles.

i would be a beginner and i would like to take lessons to learn tagalog because my boyfriend is from the philipines and i want to be able to speak the language so i can talk to his parents and teach the language to my daughter. i will take as much time as it takes or as much time as u want to give me. i would like a teacher that is easy going and really likes teaching and helping others.

I have friend from the flipines and we can be closer friends if i could talk there language too. We would visit more but i am a slow learner i need computer lessons of this language i am only delivering flyers for work and am on a pension. i have lots of time for learning the only thing that stops me from learning is bad weather.

I have both filipino parents. They have been speaking filipino to me since I was little, but in different dialects, such as ilungo,visaya , cebuano, and tagalog. I understand tagalog, but I can't speak it. I would like to learn how to speak tagalog because it is the native, and most used language in the Philippines, so I guess I consider myself a beginner.
I want to dedicate about 30 minutes a day to my lessons.
I would like to find an understanding and patient teacher.
