I am a geology PhD student at the Univeristy of Manchester undertaking research in conjunction with Norsk Hydro and StatOil. I have to spend at least 3 months of each year either in Stavanger or Bergen. I am a beginner and would like to focus on conversationa l Norwegian primarily. I also wish to study the written language as well. I am looking to spend a couple of hours a week on lessons. I need a teacher who is flexible with their working hours (daytime, evenings, weekends) as I am often away on field trips. Norwegian does not have to be your native language.

I am first generation american, my parents are Norwegian, and I wish to improve my Norwegian. I learned to carry on simple conversations but I would like to improve my grammer and conversation level.
