I am a first year mature student of Mandarin Chinese at Westminster University, London. It is a 3 year program. In summer 2005 and summer 2006 I plan to spend one month, perhaps a little more, in one of the following Manadrin speaking cities: Singapore, Beijing or Shanghai. I require a language course to supplement what I am learning at university but more importantly to focus on conversationa l listening and speaking.
I need to do this every day for at least 2 hours.
I am a disciplined learner and need to make great progress during the summer breaks. Xiexie nin.

I currently took over managing Asia for our company and I will be spending a considerable amount of time in China, as well as other countries. I would like to learn Mandarin for business, as well as personal, growth. I am very interested and intrigued by China and it's culture.
I can speak some basic phrases and words now, and have some books on learning Mandarin, but that just isn't enough to learn all the subtle tonal qualities of the language.
Any information you can give me about your programs would be greatly appreciated.
